The Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority is developing hydropower projects at Oyan Dam and Ikere Gorge Dam, aiming for 136 megawatts to be added to Nigeria's national grid before the end of President Tinubu's second term. This year, the budget allocated to these initiatives is N57 billion, which supports the construction of over 400 solar-powered boreholes and 12 dam projects aimed at enhancing irrigation and addressing water scarcity.
