Olen Cook has been selected for the Tinker Air Force Base Honorary Commander Program, which aims to strengthen ties between Tinker’s leadership and community leaders in central Oklahoma. The program offers participants a deep understanding of Tinker's missions and the associated military and civilian personnel.

The Alliance for Economic Development has a longstanding cooperation with Tinker through the Oklahoma Industries Authority, promoting a strong local aerospace industry that generates jobs and infrastructure development. Participants engage for a year, attending events and exercises that prepare them to support Tinker's mission and economic health in Oklahoma.
