OLT Offshore LNG Toscana Launches Small-Scale BioLNG Service Following ISCC Certification
OLT Offshore LNG Toscana has received International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), enabling the handling of bioLNG. This certification, recognized by the EU, ensures sustainability and traceability in renewable energy supply chains. The company has commenced its small-scale LNG cargo service at the FSRU Toscana terminal in Italy, marking the start of commercial operations for bioLNG in the region.
OLT Offshore LNG Toscana has obtained ISCC certification, allowing it to receive and handle bioLNG, ensuring sustainability and traceability compliant with the RED III Directive. The terminal's virtual liquefaction service enables transactions at PSV, facilitating LNG delivery. The company has received its first small-scale LNG cargo at the FSRU Toscana terminal in Italy, marking the beginning of its commercial bioLNG service.
