ONE-Dyas Achieves MiQ Grade A Certification for North Sea N05-A Gas Project
The N05-A gas development, operated by ONE-Dyas, is the first in the North Sea to receive MiQ Grade A certification for methane emissions. The project, powered by renewable electricity from the Riffgat offshore wind farm, significantly reduces operational greenhouse gas emissions. BP will market the certified gas to large buyers in the Netherlands and Germany, ensuring transparency and compliance with methane performance standards.

ONE-Dyas' N05-A gas development has become the first North Sea project to achieve MiQ Grade A certification for methane emissions. This certification, validated by Intertek, sets a new standard for lower-emissions gas production in Europe.
The project is fully powered by renewable electricity from the Riffgat offshore wind farm, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and methane slip. BP will act as the offtaker, targeting large gas buyers in the Netherlands and Germany. The N05-A project is part of the GEMS area, which has a natural gas potential of up to 50 billion cubic meters.
