Optimization and Control of Wave Energy Converters in Various Research Studies

Research on wave energy converters (WECs) includes various studies on control systems, design optimization, and performance improvements. Notable works include the design of an experimental wave energy device emulator (2009), optimal sliding mode control for direct drive generators (2021), and hydrodynamic design optimization of point absorbers (2009).
