Orlen Reports Record 81 LNG Deliveries to Świnoujście Terminal in 2025
In 2025, Orlen received 81 LNG deliveries at the Świnoujście terminal, a 20 increase from the previous year, totaling nearly 6 million tons. This rise is attributed to the terminal's expansion completed in late 2024. The company noted significant utilization of its gas fleet, with the terminal achieving the highest utilization rate among European terminals. Key suppliers included the USA, Qatar, and others. Orlen aims to enhance energy security in Poland, with plans for a second floating terminal in the Gdańsk Bay.

In 2025, Orlen reported 81 LNG deliveries at the Świnoujście terminal, an increase of 20 from 2024, with a total volume of nearly 6 million tons, up 30% year-on-year. The terminal's expanded capacity to 8.3 billion cubic meters per year, completed in late 2024, facilitated this growth.
The USA was the largest supplier with 62 shipments, followed by Qatar. Orlen's own fleet increased its role, handling 12 deliveries totaling approximately 782,000 tons. New vessels, Józef Piłsudski and Ignacy Jan Paderewski, joined the fleet in March 2025. Orlen is also preparing for a second FSRU terminal in Gdańsk, which will boost national LNG capacity to around 14 billion cubic meters per year and enhance Poland's energy security.
