Oshkosh Defense Secures $16.9M Contract for NMESIS Anti-Ship Missile Launchers for U.S. Marines
Oshkosh Defense has been awarded a $16.9 million contract to deliver additional NMESIS anti-ship missile launchers for the U.S. Marines. The ROGUE-Fires unmanned ground vehicle, based on the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle architecture, enables missile deployment from concealed positions. The system enhances operational flexibility and reduces personnel risk while supporting the U.S. strategy of distributed lethality in the Indo-Pacific.

Oshkosh Defense has received a $16.9 million contract to supply more NMESIS anti-ship missile launchers for the U.S. Marine Corps. The ROGUE-Fires unmanned ground vehicle integrates advanced technology for remote operations and carries two Naval Strike Missiles, capable of engaging maritime targets over 100 nautical miles.
This contract includes hardware procurement and ongoing systems integration, enhancing the Marines' tactical capabilities. The unmanned system allows for rapid repositioning, complicating enemy targeting and improving survivability. This initiative supports the U.S. strategy of distributed lethality in the Indo-Pacific region.
