Over 37,000 Britons Repatriated from Middle East Amid Ongoing Crisis
More than 37,000 British nationals have been repatriated from the Middle East since the onset of the crisis, according to British Defense Minister John Healey. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is facilitating this effort, with over 170,000 people having registered for assistance. Major airlines, including TUI Group, are involved in the repatriation, with chartered flights already underway. The British government has also temporarily removed some embassy staff from the UAE as a precaution.

Since the crisis began, over 37,000 Britons have been repatriated from the Middle East, as reported by British Defense Minister John Healey. The FCDO is expediting the repatriation process, with more than 170,000 individuals registered for assistance.
TUI Group has confirmed the repatriation of about 600 vacationers last weekend from the UAE and Maldives. Qatar Airways and British Airways continue to operate limited flights, while Emirates and Etihad Airways have reduced services. The British government has temporarily withdrawn some embassy personnel from the UAE due to safety concerns but maintains embassy operations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
