Over Half of Russian Drone Manufacturers Remain Unsanctioned, Impacting Global Security
More than half of key Russian drone manufacturers, including those producing cargo UAVs and FPV drones, are not currently sanctioned. This allows them to access technologies and financing, posing risks beyond Ukraine. Ukraine's Defense Intelligence urges for the inclusion of these companies on international blacklists to strengthen sanctions and prevent further military advancements.

More than half of the key Russian drone manufacturers, such as LLC 'Agency of Digital Development,' Aero-Hit group, and KB 'Microb,' are not under sanctions, enabling unrestricted access to technologies and funding. The LLC develops cargo UAVs Svarog, used by the Russian Marine Corps, while Aero-Hit produces FPV drones Veles.
Ukraine's Defense Intelligence calls for these companies to be blacklisted to enhance sanctions and limit the aggressor's capabilities. The agency warns that military advancements gained in Ukraine may benefit Russian allies in the future.
