Oyo State Governor Appoints New Security Adviser and Board Chairman
Governor Seyi Makinde has appointed Abayomi Fagbenro as special adviser on security and Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi as Board Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company. Fagbenro takes over from Fatal Owoseni, who resigned to pursue a governorship ambition.
Abayomi Fagbenro has been appointed as the special adviser on security for Oyo State. He previously served at the Department of Defense's Army Network Enterprise Centre in Virginia from October 2007 to August 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from ECPI University and Strayer University.
Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi has been named Board Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company, succeeding Fatal Owoseni. Both appointments were confirmed in letters signed by Chief of Staff Segun Ogunwuyi and are effective immediately. The new appointees are urged by Governor Makinde to view their roles as opportunities for meaningful contributions to the state’s development.
