Pacifico Energy Launches 30 MW Sunpro Wind Farm in Vietnam's Mekong Delta
Pacifico Energy Vietnam has launched its 30 MW Sunpro Wind Farm in Vĩnh Long Province, which commenced operations on December 19, 2025. The project, financed with VND 750 billion ($28.5 million) from VietinBank, will supply electricity to 27,000 households and supports Vietnam's clean energy transition under a 20-year feed-in tariff with Vietnam Electricity Group. This marks Pacifico Energy's second operational project in the country, following the 40 MW Mũi Né Solar Power Plant.

Pacifico Energy Vietnam commenced commercial operations at its 30 MW Sunpro Wind Farm in Thới Thuận Commune, Vĩnh Long Province on December 19, 2025. The project adds power capacity to Vietnam's national grid and supports the country's clean energy transition.
Sunpro is backed by a 20-year feed-in tariff with Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), ensuring stable revenue. This is Pacifico Energy Group's second operational project in Vietnam, following the 40 MW Mũi Né Solar Power Plant.
The wind farm will supply electricity to 27,000 households. The project was financed with VND 750 billion ($28.5 million) from VietinBank, covering engineering, procurement, construction, and refinancing of shareholder loans. Total investment in the project is VND 1,600 billion.
