PAF and PACAF Conduct Joint Aerial Operations at Basa Air Base
The Philippine Air Force and U.S. Pacific Air Forces held Exercise Cope Thunder Philippines 26-1 from April 6 to April 17, 2026, at Basa Air Base. This exercise aimed to enhance interoperability and combat readiness, supporting shared defense objectives in the Western Pacific.

From April 6 to April 17, 2026, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) and U.S. Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) conducted Exercise Cope Thunder Philippines 26-1 at Basa Air Base. The exercise focused on boosting combat readiness and enhancing joint operational capabilities.
Training activities were centered in Northern Luzon, with Clark Air Base serving as the coordination hub. Basa Air Base facilitated flight operations, including fighter jet maneuvers and expert exchanges. These ongoing operations reinforce the commitment to regional security and operational excellence through joint training.
