Paju City has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the 25th Infantry Division to delegate administrative authority over an additional 1.5㎢ of the Military Facility Protection Zone. Announced on December 9, this agreement expands the total area under administrative delegation in Paju City to 68.70㎢, building on a previous MOU from October 2024.

The designated areas include the Paju Contents World General Industrial Complex (1㎢), around 333 Ungdam-ri, Beopwon-eup (0.15㎢), and around 110 Ungdam-ri, Beopwon-eup (0.35㎢). Permits for construction below specified heights in these locations will now only require approval from Paju City, streamlining the permitting process and reducing development costs.
