Pakistan's Economic Coordination Committee Approves Billions for Digital and Defense Projects
Pakistan's Economic Coordination Committee approved technical supplementary grants amounting to billions of rupees to boost digital infrastructure, public services, and defense projects. Key allocations include Rs 3.7 billion for IT improvements, Rs 3 billion for Digital Enforcement Stations, and Rs 5.081 billion for defense services, alongside funding for the Autism Centre of Excellence and the Film and Drama Finance Fund. Additionally, a committee was established to negotiate APL Pipeline agreements.

The Economic Coordination Committee of Pakistan approved technical supplementary grants totaling billions of rupees to enhance digital infrastructure, public services, defense, and the creative industry. A Rs 3.7 billion grant was allocated to the IT and Telecommunication Division for improving digital networks and government e-services.
Rs 800 million was approved for the Asan Khidmat Centre in Islamabad. The Federal Board of Revenue received Rs 3 billion for Digital Enforcement Stations and Rs 7 billion for the fourth quarter. Defence projects received Rs 2 billion for Sustainable Development Goals in Punjab and Rs 5.081 billion for broader services.
Rs 322.87 million was allocated for the Autism Centre of Excellence, and Rs 700 million was approved for the Film and Drama Finance Fund. A committee was formed to negotiate the APL Pipeline agreements.
