Palantir Technologies Inc. has been authorized by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for its Federal Cloud Service (PFCS) Forward, extending its existing Impact Level 5 and Impact Level 6 Provisional Authorizations to include on-premises and edge deployments. This enables deployment of Palantir's technology stack, including Apollo, Gotham, Foundry, and AIP, across any environment on hardware chosen by customers.
The Provisional Authorization package includes an inherited eMASS record, which can significantly reduce time for Authorization to Operate by eliminating site-specific implementation and assessment of security controls. This aligns with the Department of War's modernization priorities, facilitating rapid deployment for mission-critical operations.
