On February 2, 2026, a joint task force in Papua's Yahukimo District seized a homemade long-barreled rifle near Jalan Gunung, Kali T Complex. The weapon was confiscated by the Operation Peace Cartenz Task Force and Yahukimo Police at 2:33 p.m. after local residents provided a tip.

The rifle was found behind an abandoned house and taken to Yahukimo Police headquarters for further investigation.
