Parsons Integrates First SPARTAN Phased Array Antenna for Satellite Operations
Parsons Corporation has completed the integration and operational acceptance of its first Raven Defense S-Band Phased Array Antenna Node (SPARTAN) within the OrbitXchange™ network. The 6-meter antenna supports simultaneous commands and telemetry for multiple spacecraft, enhancing operational capabilities for U.S. government customers. The system can be tailored for various frequency bands and is designed for national security space missions.

Parsons Corporation announced the operational acceptance of the first Raven Defense S-Band Phased Array Antenna Node (SPARTAN), integrated into the OrbitXchange™ global antenna network. The 6-meter antenna features eight electronically steerable downlink beams and a dedicated uplink beam, enabling simultaneous support for multiple spacecraft.
SPARTAN is designed for national security missions and provides significant capabilities for U.S. government customers. The system can be customized for additional frequency bands and incorporates the Parsons Mission Link Modem for flexible signal processing. Parsons aims to expand its partnership with Raven Defense to deploy more SPARTAN systems.
