PDS Optical has launched the Perfect Drying System (PDS), a patent-pending technology designed to enhance eyewear production efficiency for U.S. Veterans by automating lens-drying and verification processes, saving 80 hours per week. Developed by engineer Ellis Cassity, the system features advanced sensors and robotics, contributing to the production of over 1.7 million pairs of glasses in response to increased demand from the PACT Act. This innovation solidifies PDS Optical's position as a leader in Kentucky's eyewear manufacturing industry.
