The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, launched a two-week Research Skill Accelerate Program on March 9, 2026, focusing on Product Design and Sustainable Manufacturing, in collaboration with CSIR-CSIO and IIT Roorkee. The program, supported by PSCST, aims to strengthen the research ecosystem by providing specialized training to faculty members.

Participants will engage in expert lectures and hands-on training on product design, hybrid manufacturing methods, Big Data, IoT applications, and robotics. The initiative seeks to empower attendees with advanced knowledge and skills to foster innovation in sustainable manufacturing.
