The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) has announced a $284.2 million investment aimed at enhancing drinking, wastewater, and stormwater systems in 20 counties. Key projects include the Bedford Township Municipal Authority's $5 million loan for a new well and associated infrastructure improvements, and the Borough of Everett Area Municipal Authority's combined $20 million funding for wastewater treatment upgrades.
Other notable projects include Highland Sewer & Water Authority's $8.2 million loan for waterline construction and Reade Township Municipal Authority's $5 million funding for waterline and tank replacements. These initiatives are critical to modernizing water infrastructure and ensuring safe drinking water access for residents.
