Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia are collaborating through the newly formed Tri-State Space Council to enhance their roles in the aerospace economy. Announced at the 2026 Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit, this partnership involves the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry and Keystone Space Collaborative, targeting workforce development, economic initiatives, and research collaboration.
The intent to formalize a Memorandum of Understanding among the three states' chambers aims to foster regional cooperation. The coalition may enhance competitiveness and innovation, positioning the Tri-State region as a key player in the national aerospace sector.
