Pennsylvania National Guard Demonstrates UAS Capabilities to Army Acquisition Executive
The Pennsylvania National Guard showcased its UAS capabilities to Army Acquisition Executive Brent Ingraham at Picatinny Arsenal on January 20, receiving commendation for its contributions to the Army's UAS program. The collaboration with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command focuses on testing and feedback for UAS systems, while also developing a standardized drone training course in partnership with Fort Rucker, Alabama, to enhance training pipelines.

Two Pennsylvania National Guard Soldiers supported a UAS demonstration at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, for Brent Ingraham, assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics, and technology, on January 20. The demonstration was deemed a success, with Ingraham expressing high praise for the UAS team's efforts in advancing the Army's UAS program.
The Pennsylvania National Guard maintains a partnership with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), testing UAS systems and providing feedback for development. Reed highlighted ongoing collaboration since last summer, focusing on emerging technologies and mission-specific adaptations.
The National Guard's UAS Training and Innovation Facility is also developing a standardized first-person-view drone training course in collaboration with Fort Rucker, Alabama. This effort aims to enhance training pipelines and solidify Pennsylvania's role as a regional training site for UAS operations.
