Darkhive Inc. has secured a $49.7 million contract from the Pentagon as part of the Accelerate the Procurement and Fielding of Innovative Technologies (APFIT) program, aimed at rapidly integrating new military technologies. This contract, focused on the Army's 'Real-Time Command and Control at the Tactical Edge' program, will facilitate the operation of autonomous drones for enhanced situational awareness in the field.
Previously, Darkhive had received $14 million in federal contracts and is prequalified for an additional Pentagon deal valued up to $100 million. The company has expanded its product range to include various drones and supporting software, addressing the demand for domestically produced components amidst geopolitical tensions.
