Pentagon Awards Boeing $8.58B Contract for F-15IA Fighters for Israel
The Pentagon has awarded Boeing an $8.58 billion contract to supply Israel with over 25 advanced F-15IA fighter jets, with deliveries slated to begin in 2031 and an option for 25 more. This contract aims to enhance Israel's air capabilities, complementing the recent receipt of three F-35I jets, which brings its fleet to 48, alongside an order for 25 additional F-35s by 2028.

In late 2025, the Pentagon awarded Boeing a contract to provide Israel with over 25 F-15I fighter jets for $8.58 billion, including an option for 25 more. Deliveries will start in 2031. The F-15IA will feature advanced systems and enhance Israel's air capabilities. Meanwhile, Israel's Air Force received three F-35I jets, increasing its fleet to 48, with an additional 25 F-35s ordered for delivery by 2028.
