Perseus Defense has selected Tower Business Park in Buda for its new headquarters, focusing on guided micro-missiles for drone defense. The facility will support engineering, manufacturing, R&D, and operations, creating 20 jobs in the first year, over 130 by the third year, and approximately 400 by the fifth year.

The average annual salary is projected to be $120,000, exceeding Hays County's median wage by 126%. A performance-based incentive agreement approved by the Buda EDC and City Council mandates Perseus to maintain its headquarters for at least five years.

The company is collaborating with the U.S. Department of War, Homeland Security, and Army research groups.
