Pertamina Reports 2025 Oil Production of 557,000 BPD and Gas Production of 2.76 BSCFD
PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) reported oil production of 557,000 barrels per day and gas production of 2.76 billion standard cubic feet per day in 2025, totaling 1.03 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. This marks a slight decline from 2024's production levels, despite the completion of 886 exploitation wells and significant seismic surveys. PHE's strategic projects, including advancements in Multistage Fracturing technology, aim to enhance production capacity and support national energy security.

In 2025, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) achieved oil production of 557,000 barrels per day (BPD) and natural gas production of 2.76 billion standard cubic feet per day (BSCFD), totaling 1.03 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD). This reflects a slight decrease from 2024's production of 1.045 million BOEPD.
PHE completed 886 exploitation drilling wells, 1,288 workovers, and conducted extensive seismic surveys. Category 2C discoveries totaled 1,097 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE), with proven reserves at 313.7 MMBOE.
Notable projects included the successful implementation of Multistage Fracturing technology on wells in the Rokan Block. Additionally, strategic projects launched in 2025 contributed to production capacity, with the PPC-01 exploration well exceeding its target in December. PHE aims to continue its exploration and development efforts to bolster national energy security.
