Philippine Air Force Accepts Fifth Batch of S-70i Black Hawk Helicopters
The Philippine Air Force has received its fifth batch of five S-70i Black Hawk helicopters, along with eight M134-H machine guns, at Villamor Air Base. This delivery is part of a 32-unit contract with PZL Mielec, bringing the total received to 25 helicopters, with more expected in 2024 and 2025. Once fully delivered, the PAF will operate a total of 47 S-70i helicopters, enhancing its air mobility and disaster relief capabilities.

The Philippine Air Force accepted five additional S-70i Black Hawk helicopters and eight M134-H machine guns at Villamor Air Base. This delivery marks the fifth batch of a 32-unit contract with PZL Mielec.
A total of 25 Black Hawks have been received, with additional batches scheduled for 2024 and 2025. Once all helicopters are delivered, the PAF will have 47 S-70i helicopters. The Black Hawks enhance the PAF's capabilities in air mobility and disaster relief, with local support from Lockheed Martin's Manila office and Asian Aerospace.
