The Philippine Army's 25th Infantry Battalion has appointed 1st Lt. Grace Angela Pocyoy as the first female commander of Charlie Company, marking a significant milestone in the 10th Infantry Division. This appointment reflects the Army's commitment to merit-based leadership and gender equality in combat units.
Previously, Pocyoy held roles including Assistant Civil-Military Operations Officer and Executive Officer of Alpha Company, where she managed personnel and tactical operations. As the commander of Charlie Company, she will oversee internal security operations and peace initiatives within the battalion's jurisdiction.
