Picogrid has been awarded a $9.3 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract to enhance counter-drone systems at selected U.S. Air Force bases using its AI-driven 'Legion' software.
This software enables integration of various anti-drone technologies such as radars and jammers, significantly reducing the time required for integration from weeks to less than a day for many systems. The project aims to unify disparate military systems for improved situational awareness and operational efficiency.
Picogrid has also established a Partner Ecosystem with over 50 vendors to facilitate technology integration. The contract supports a multi-year deployment of Legion, which aims to create a responsive command-and-control architecture to protect Air Force resources.
