The piped natural gas (PNG) network in Berhampur is nearing completion, with around 44 km of steel pipeline planned, of which only 8 km remains. GAIL Gas Limited anticipates finishing the remaining work within four months, pending final permissions for one section.
A city gas station is proposed at Karakhandi village, located near an existing IPS station on the Srikakulam-Angul Pipeline (SAPL). Local authorities are monitoring the project's progress, emphasizing the importance of timely completion. This development could significantly improve energy accessibility in the region, impacting both residential and commercial sectors.
