Planet Labs PBC announced record financial results for fiscal year 2026, achieving non-GAAP profitability for the first time. The share price surged by 25.2% following this announcement. Fiscal Q4 revenue reached $86.8 million, a 41% increase year-over-year, with total revenue for the year climbing 26% to $307.7 million.
Growth was driven by the Defense & Intelligence segment, which saw over 50% revenue growth, including a significant deal with the Swedish Armed Forces. Planet's adjusted EBITDA profit was $15.5 million, reversing a loss from the previous year.
The company plans to launch the Pelican and Tanager satellite constellations, enhancing its AI-driven 'Planetary Intelligence' capabilities. Revenue projections for fiscal 2027 are between $415 million and $440 million.
