PLN NP Prepares 15,825 MW Capacity for Christmas and New Year in Jamali Region

PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) has prepared a net capacity of 15,825 MW across the Jamali region, which includes Sumatra-Kalimantan and Sulawesi-Maluku-Papua. The company has mobilized its power plants and personnel to ensure safe electricity supply during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

A total of 6,022 personnel, including employees and partners, along with 2,876 security personnel, have been deployed. Additionally, 125 power plant standby posts and one central office standby post are operational, equipped with 45 fire trucks, 20 ambulances, and sufficient spare parts.

Primary energy supply is secured, with coal operating at a normal average HOP above 15 days, and LNG reserves at major terminals supporting gas supply for up to 24 HOP. Fuel reserves are at a safe level of up to 13.8 HOP, ensuring reliable electricity delivery. PLN NP also focuses on the rapid recovery of power plants affected by disasters to maintain dependable electricity services.
