Poland Launches Export Borsuk Fighting Vehicle at IDEB 2026
Poland showcased the export variant of its Borsuk infantry fighting vehicle at IDEB 2026, featuring a Slovak Turra 30V9 turret. This collaboration between Poland's Huta Stalowa Wola and Slovakia's EVPÚ aims to penetrate international defense markets.

The export version of the Borsuk infantry fighting vehicle, equipped with a Slovak Turra 30V9 unmanned turret, debuted at IDEB 2026 in Bratislava. The vehicle integrates the Polish hull from Huta Stalowa Wola and the Turra 30V9 turret, which offers flexibility in armament configurations, including a 30mm cannon and dual Rafael Spike LR2 missile launchers.
The Borsuk is designed to replace the BMP-1 and BWP-1 in the Polish Army, is fully amphibious, and accommodates a crew of three plus six infantry. The turret's hunter-killer capability enhances engagement rates against multiple threats. The presence of Slovak officials at the event underscores the political support for this Polish-Slovak defense initiative, which is strategically positioned for Arab markets given EVPÚ Defence's existing ties in Saudi Arabia.
