DEFENSE

Poland is preparing a 47th military aid package for Ukraine, valued at €220-230 million, which will include ammunition, supplies, and spare parts for military equipment. This follows the delivery of 46 previous packages, the last valued at approximately €250 million.

The new package will feature Polish-made weapons and equipment tailored for various branches of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Additionally, Poland and Ukraine are enhancing defense industry cooperation, focusing on joint production, innovative technology development, and military equipment modernization.

Recent discussions have emphasized the use of Ukrainian naval systems to bolster Poland's coastal defense and improve missile and air defense capabilities. Poland is also set to transfer four MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine, with further consultations ongoing regarding UAV and missile technology transfers.
