Poland to Expand Naftoport Capacity by 20% to Enhance Energy Security
Poland's Naftoport in Gdańsk will undergo expansion to increase its capacity by nearly 20%. Energy Minister Miłosz Motyka emphasized the importance of energy security and the diversification of resource supplies. Current projects include an LNG terminal in Świnoujście and a new FSRU terminal in Gdańsk Bay. The government aims to connect Polish oil and fuel infrastructure with NATO systems. Despite concerns over Middle Eastern supply disruptions, recent investments have secured Poland’s energy needs.

Despite concerns over fuel supply from the Middle East, recent investments have ensured Poland's energy security. PERN manages over 2,500 km of oil pipelines and 19 fuel depots across the country.
