Poland's Second LNG Terminal Launch Scheduled for April in Ulsan
Poland's new LNG terminal is set to enhance energy security with a 6 bcm annual capacity. The floating unit launch on April 30 marks a significant step in diversifying Poland's energy sources.

Poland's second LNG terminal is scheduled to launch its floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) on April 30 in Ulsan, South Korea, after four months of construction by Hyundai Heavy Industries. This facility will provide approximately 6 billion cubic meters of gas annually, complementing the existing Świnoujście LNG Terminal.
Following its launch, the vessel will cover around 12,500 nautical miles to reach Gdańsk Bay, with operations anticipated to start in 2028. The project is also supported by the development of related pipeline and offshore infrastructure in Poland, which is crucial for enhancing the nation's energy security.
