Polish LNG Terminal Faces Supply Challenges Amid Market Disruptions
The Polish LNG terminal is projected to see significantly lower performance this year compared to last year due to supply disruptions. The absence of Qatar's LNG deliveries has resulted in a 20% reduction in terminal utilization, raising concerns about future supply stability.

The Polish LNG terminal is experiencing a notable decline in activity, with only 26 deliveries in 2023 compared to 8 from Qatar in the same period last year. The terminal, operated by Gaz-System, last received LNG from Qatar on March 24, leading to an operational gap due to geopolitical tensions affecting global supply chains, particularly following the events in the Persian Gulf.
Current American deliveries are expected to continue, but the market remains uncertain due to high prices and lack of alternative sources. Given that shipments from Qatar may not resume soon, the terminal's output is unlikely to reach last year's volume of over 8 billion m³.
