Port of Corpus Christi Reports 2025 Tonnage and Completion of Channel Improvement Project
In 2025, the Port of Corpus Christi processed 203.4 million tons through the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, reflecting a 1.5% decline from the previous year. Notably, LNG exports increased by 15.4% to 18.6 million tons, while crude oil shipments fell by 2.3% to 127.4 million tons. The port also completed its channel improvement project, deepening and widening the channel to enhance navigational infrastructure.

Q4 2025 volumes reached 50.1 million tons, down from 54 million tons in Q4 2024. The Port completed the Corpus Christi Ship Channel Improvement Project, enhancing navigational infrastructure by deepening the channel from 47 to 54 feet and widening it from 400 to 530 feet.
