Preah Sihanouk Completes 34 Roads and Advances Wastewater Infrastructure Projects
Preah Sihanouk has finalized the construction of 34 roads totaling 84 km at a cost of $294 million. The region is enhancing its wastewater management with two treatment plants, which will bolster its appeal for tourism and investment.

The completion of 34 roads in Preah Sihanouk, covering 84 km, represents a $294 million investment. The first wastewater treatment plant is fully operational, processing 5,200 cubic meters daily, while a second plant is 84% complete with a capacity of 7,200 cubic meters per day.
Plans for a third plant are underway to further reduce wastewater discharge into the sea. Additional projects include public toilets, 93% completed, and security cameras, with 60% installed. These developments are crucial for Preah Sihanouk's economic growth, targeting increased tourism and investment opportunities.
