Precision Additive has launched the PA-300, the world's fastest laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) 3D metal printer, designed for defense, aerospace, energy, and medical applications. Utilizing proprietary SSLM laser technology, the PA-300 achieves build speeds up to ten times faster than conventional systems while maintaining high-quality standards.
Its embedded AI system monitors the printing process in real-time, allowing for automatic corrections to ensure part integrity. The PA series is capable of printing challenging materials like magnesium, tungsten, and copper, addressing supply chain vulnerabilities in U.S. defense manufacturing.
