President Draupadi Murmu's Visit to Jamshedpur: Security Measures and Local Celebrations
President Draupadi Murmu's visit to Jamshedpur on Monday will feature tribal art displays and traditional performances, alongside heightened security measures including a 28-hour no-flying zone and traffic restrictions. The President will honor 12 Santhali literary figures and attend the NIT-Jamshedpur convocation before departing for Ranchi. Additional security forces have been deployed to manage the event and ensure safety.

President Draupadi Murmu will visit Jamshedpur on Monday, featuring tribal art displays and heightened security. The Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee and Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd have adorned city walls with Sohrai-Khibar style tribal paintings.
A 28-hour no-flying zone will be in effect from 6 PM Sunday to 10 PM Monday, affecting Jamshedpur, Potka, Patamda, and Boram Blocks. Indian Air Force helicopters conducted trial flights at Sonari Airport, and officials rehearsed the presidential convoy route.
A tribal group will perform traditional songs during the visit, where the President will honor 12 Santhali literary figures. Heavy vehicles will be banned from 6 AM to 11 PM, with traffic diversions in place.
The President will attend the NIT-Jamshedpur convocation and depart for Ranchi around 3:30 PM. Additional security forces have been deployed, and various roads will have restricted access.
