NATURAL GAS

Propel Global Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd and Reservoir Link Energy Bhd to explore the development of a modular gas power plant in Sabah. The collaboration aims to provide a cost-efficient, low-emission energy solution to support industrial growth and grid stability in the region.

Under the MoU, the parties will conduct feasibility studies and assessments, with Reservoir Link covering all capital expenditures. A joint working group will be formed within 30 days to oversee the project, which is expected to last for two years.

The initiative includes integrating liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification and modular power generation. Propel Global's partnership is part of its strategy to diversify into clean energy and support Sabah's energy transition.
