Propel Global, Sabah Energy, and Reservoir Link Sign MoU for Gas-to-Power Project in Sabah
Propel Global Bhd has partnered with Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd and Reservoir Link Energy Bhd to explore a modular gas power plant project in Sabah, aimed at delivering a cost-efficient, low-emission energy solution. The memorandum of understanding includes conducting feasibility studies, with Reservoir Link funding all capital expenditures, and a joint working group will be established to oversee the two-year initiative. This collaboration aligns with Propel Global's strategy to diversify into clean energy and support Sabah's energy transition.

Propel Global Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd and Reservoir Link Energy Bhd to explore the development of a modular gas power plant in Sabah. The collaboration aims to provide a cost-efficient, low-emission energy solution to support industrial growth and grid stability in the region.
Under the MoU, the parties will conduct feasibility studies and assessments, with Reservoir Link covering all capital expenditures. A joint working group will be formed within 30 days to oversee the project, which is expected to last for two years.
The initiative includes integrating liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification and modular power generation. Propel Global's partnership is part of its strategy to diversify into clean energy and support Sabah's energy transition.
