PTDI Delivers Eighth NC212i Aircraft to Indonesian Defense Ministry
PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) has completed the delivery of its eighth NC212i aircraft to the Indonesian Defense Ministry. This delivery is part of a nine-unit order aimed at modernizing the Indonesian Air Force's tactical capabilities.

On July 30, 2026, PT Dirgantara Indonesia delivered its eighth NC212i aircraft, tail number AX-2135, to the Indonesian Defense Ministry, enhancing the Air Force's tactical fleet capabilities. The aircraft departed from PTDI's Bandung Delivery Center to Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base in East Java and is equipped with German-made MT-Propeller MTV-27 systems and Honeywell TPE331 engines, designed to improve stability and reduce noise.
After passing the final Flight Acceptance Certificate testing on July 9, 2026, the aircraft, capable of troop transport, cloud seeding, and aerial mapping, is confirmed operationally ready. The final aircraft is expected to be delivered by October 2027, completing the contract and potentially increasing Indonesia's defense proficiency.
