Communities Minister Gordon Lyons announced plans for a mixed regeneration development at a former British Army base. Potential uses include office space, health and life sciences, residential apartments, student accommodation, retail, hotel, leisure, cafes, bars, restaurants, and community spaces.

A public consultation event is set for January 22 at City Hotel from 3pm to 7pm, allowing attendees to learn more and give feedback. Details will be available on a dedicated project website starting January 22.
