Pune Polymers Installs 705 kW Solar Systems, Reducing Power Costs by 30-40%
Pune Polymers has implemented 705 kW of rooftop solar systems to cut power expenses and enhance energy efficiency. This initiative is projected to generate over 910,000 kWh annually, reducing electricity costs significantly.

Pune Polymers has installed two rooftop solar systems totaling 705 kW at its manufacturing sites in Maharashtra, with expectations to decrease electricity bills by 30-40%. The project, executed by B. U.
Bhandari Energy, includes a 400 kW system at the Chakan facility and a 305 kW system at the Waluj plant, projected to yield annual savings between ₹7.3 million and ₹9.1 million. The Chakan installation is estimated to produce about 531,182 kWh annually, while the Waluj plant is expected to generate approximately 385,210 kWh. The systems are designed to optimize solar energy consumption and allow excess power to be exported to the grid, enhancing energy reliability.
