Q-Factor Secures $24M Seed Funding for Quantum Computing Innovation
Q-Factor has raised $24 million in seed funding to develop a scalable neutral atom-based quantum computer. The investment will accelerate efforts to overcome current qubit scaling challenges in quantum computing, aiming for practical applications in the industry.

Q-Factor, a Tel Aviv-based startup, has successfully secured $24 million in seed funding for its neutral atom quantum computing project. The funding round was led by NFX and TPY Capital, with participation from Intel Capital among others.
The company aims to develop quantum computers capable of operating at a million qubits, a significant leap from current technologies that struggle to exceed a few thousand qubits. This initiative focuses on using neutral atoms to enhance qubit stability and scalability, addressing existing architectural bottlenecks.
The involvement of Intel Capital, known for its expertise in manufacturing and scaling, may provide critical support as Q-Factor progresses towards achieving quantum advantage, a pivotal milestone in quantum computing. Should Q-Factor succeed, it could reshape the landscape of quantum technology and accelerate its commercial viability.
