IQM Quantum Computers has raised $320 million in a Series B funding round, bringing total funding to $600 million. This capital will enhance IQM's technological roadmap, focusing on expanding its presence in the U.S. and global markets.

IQM Quantum Computers secured $320 million (€275 million) in a Series B funding round, led by Ten Eleven Ventures, marking its first American investment. The Finnish venture capital firm Tesi increased its investment, alongside participation from Elo Mutual Pension Insurance, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance, Schwarz Group, Winbond Electronics Corporation, EIC, and Bayern Kapital.
The new funding will facilitate the expansion of IQM's data center infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities, aiming to scale up to one million qubits and improve error correction. This investment highlights the growing intersection of cybersecurity and quantum computing, with potential risks and competitive advantages in the evolving tech landscape.
