Qarbon Aerospace Expands Defense Manufacturing at Texas Facility
Qarbon Aerospace is set to complete a new 55,000 square foot classified manufacturing space by early 2027 at its Red Oak, Texas headquarters. This expansion aims to enhance its capabilities in the classified defense sector, responding to the increasing demand from defense contractors for specialized aerostructures.

Qarbon Aerospace, based in Red Oak, Texas, is constructing a 55,000 square foot facility to enhance its classified defense capabilities. The facility, which already spans over 772,000 square feet, will include dedicated areas for composites manufacturing and a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
Construction is expected to finish by early 2027 following the approval of all permits. This development positions Qarbon to better support defense prime contractors and meet the requirements for classified programs, a strategic priority for the company. The expansion is significant as few Tier 1 composite manufacturers can offer similar capabilities, indicating a shift in market dynamics for defense-related aerospace manufacturing.
