Qatar is enhancing its renewable energy capacity, targeting 4,000 megawatts of solar by 2030. Additionally, 'Zero Waste' initiatives have turned treated waste into energy and organic fertilizer, while a new transport strategy aims to integrate sustainability into national mobility.

'Zero Waste' initiatives have produced over 245,000 megawatt-hours of clean energy and organic fertilizer from waste in 2024. The Ministry of Transport launched a strategy for sustainable mobility that includes expanding the electric bus fleet.
