QatarEnergy Awards $4 Billion EPCI Contract to Saipem and OOE for North Field Expansion
QatarEnergy LNG has awarded a $4 billion EPCI contract to a consortium of Saipem SpA and Offshore Oil Engineering Co. Ltd. to enhance LNG production capacity at the North Field, the largest non-associated natural gas field globally. Saipem's portion of the contract is approximately $3.1 billion, with the project expected to take about five years and involve the installation of two compression complexes.

This contract aims to maintain and expand LNG production capacity at the North Field, the world's largest non-associated natural gas field, located off Qatar's northeastern coast.
